RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AGENCY
- Sibellius is responsible to realize all the reservations received by mail or fax, which has been confirmed and sent in written to the client.
- Sibellius is responsible only for the services mentioned in the voucher, which has been given to the client.
- If the client wants to have additional services after receiving voucher from Sibellius, these will be regarded as new reservations.
- Sibellius is responsible for the services, which has been confirmed by Sibellius by fax or by mail.
- Sibellius is responsible to act according to the law No. 1618 concerning travel agencies in Turkey.
- Based to the law mentioned above, Sibellius is responsible to make repayment of services, which the client has paid for but not received either from Sibellius or from third party (hotel, rent a car company etc.).
- Sibellius cannot be held responsible in cases of force major.
- For flights, domestic and international flight tickets, the responsibility belongs only to the flight company.
- Rent a car companies are responsible for their services directly to the client.
- In case of injuries or death caused by an accident, Sibellius cannot be held responsible. All these belong to the client himself (private travel insurance policy).
- In case of repayment Sibellius will do the payment immediately after the responsibility for the payment has been confirmed and proved. In case of disagreement, the payment will be done after final decision has been made.
- Sibellius is responsible to keep all correspondence for one year. In case of disagreement, the correspondence between Sibellius and the client in Internet will be hold as valid.
CONFIDENTALITY
Sibellius has the responsibility to keep secret all the information given by the client while making the reservation and the payment. None of this information can be given to third parties.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CLIENT
- The client is responsible to follow all the rules and regulations of Sibellius while making reservation and using the
services given by Sibellius.
- In case the client has not received all the services mentioned in the voucher, he is responsible to inform about it
immediately to Sibellius in written. In case of repayment, official documents from the institution in question as
prove of missing service, has to be delivered to Sibellius.
- In case of an accident, the responsibility belongs to the client (private insurance policy).
RESERVATIONS OUTSIDE OF TURKEY GENERAL CONDITIONS
If you want to make reservation for hotels outside of Turkey, please act as follows:
1. Fill the reservation form and send it to Sibellius.
It is necessary to fill all the places marked in the form. At the same time with the same form you can also be a
member of Sibellius. Membership will gain you extra benefit.
2. After filling the reservation form, reservation number will be given to you (you can follow up your reservation with this number).
3. Sibellius will send to you preconfirmation.
4. Make the payment within the time limit given in preconfirmation.
5. After you payment has arrived to the bank account of Sibellius, final confirmation and voucher will be sent to you.
6. In the voucher/s it will be written all the services you have bought from Sibellius and by presenting this voucher you can obtain the services you have bought (check in to the hotel, rent a car etc).
7. Please note: Prices for hotel rooms outside of Turkey.
The room prices given on our pages are not valid during fairs, conferences, festivals, during special events and
public holidays in each country. After receiving your reservation, we will inform you the exact price.

With the given voucher/s you can obtain the services you have bought.
CANCELLATIONS
1. Cancellation of confirmed reservations
a) Cancellations made outside of release period.
If the cancellation is made outside of release period, in general the client is due to make a penalty payment (no show payment). The penalty payment can vary from one (1) day to total stay depending of the hotel and the agreement between the hotel and Sibellius. Hotels can also have different kind of policy during different dates (fairs, low season, high season etc.).
Additional to this no show payment to the hotel, Sibellius will charge a cancellation fee of 30 USD for reservations in Turkey and 50 USD for reservations outside of Turkey (service charge for bank transwire costs, telephone costs etc).
b)Cancellations made within the release period.
If the cancellation is made within the release period of the hotel/s in question, there will not be any penalty payment (no show payment). In this case Sibellius will charge a cancellation fee of 30 USD for reservations in Turkey and 50 USD for reservations outside of Turkey (service charge for bank transwire costs, telephone costs etc.).
2.If the change of reservation or cancellation has been made before it has been confirmed by Sibellius, new
reservation will be valid and old reservation will be cancelled.
In general, the conditions for cancellations mentioned above are valid as follows:
- for hotels in Turkey if the cancellation has been made min 3 days before check in to the hotel
- for hotels outside of Turkey, if the cancellation has been made min 7 days before check in to the hotel
If the reservation to the hotel has been made very close to the check in date, each case will be handled separately. In general, these reservations will be handled as in 1. a). (cancellation of confirmed reservation outside of release
period).
